Grandmothers to Grandmothers Bottle Drive


Help Grandmothers to Grandmothers raise funds for their Stephan Lewis Foundation Campaign.  They'll be set up on Saturday, May 28th at the Parksville Recycling Depot and the Eaglecrest Golf Course to accept donations. 

Gather up the recyclables and drop them between 10 and 1pm at the golf course, or make your way to the recycling depot between 10 and 2pm.  All the proceeds raised will help the Grandmothers Campgain to provide care to children in Africa.  Find out more about the group by clicking here.  
 

Qualicum Beach Family Day


For over 40 years the town of Qualicum Beach has been coming together for Family Day on the last Sunday of May.  Bring the whole family out for a day of fun on Sunday, May 29th.  

Start the day with a traditional Shriner's breakfast or catch a free swim at the Ravensong Aquatic Centre between 10am and noon.  Head downtown for the 12pm parade, then check out all the activities on the Civic Centre Fields from 1pm until 4.  They'll have interactive games, a climbing wall, bouncy castles, food, music, dancing, pony rides, and so much more!  Find out all the details by clicking here.  
 

Pancake Breakfasts


PictureThe Qualicum Beach Legion Branch 76 is excited for another summer of pancake breakfasts!  Join them every Saturday morning between 8:30 and 11:30am, rain or shine, for a great breakfast in the garden.  

Everyone is welcome with kids under 5 years eating for free, 5-10 can chow down for $3, and adults eat for $6.  The program has raised over $28,000 in the last 6 years, with donations and proceeds going back to the community.  Breakfasts are scheduled until September 24th, more information is up on their website.
