The Beach is hosting a Donation Drive for Risebridge!
Let’s help Risebridge help those in our community who are experiencing housing/financial insecurity.
The Morning Show with Megan will be broadcasting live from Save-on-Foods on Friday, December 5th, 6am – 10am.
If you can’t make it, drop donations off early to the Beach donation bin at Save-on-Foods from Monday, December 1st to Thursday, December 4th.
When/Where: Friday, December 5th, 6am – 10am at Save-on-Foods in Parksville
Most Requested Winter Items:
- $10 gift cards for places like McDonald’s, Tim Hortons
- Sweat pants (all sizes)
- Protein drinks (Ensure, Boost, etc.)

Risebridge provides donations to anyone who needs, for free! We pride ourselves on distributing items equitably and coordinating with other service providers and government agencies to spread much needed basic resources across the mid island area.
We give out items directly to the community and do not have storage space so please donate items that are seasonally appropriate and new or in excellent used condition.
Risebridge Mandate:
To minimize the gaps in our social service offerings by holding a safe space for connection, system navigation, and decolonized programming that is trauma-informed and culturally rooted to be responsive to the immediate needs of our community.
