The Remembrance Day service in Parksville will begin at 10:40am on Friday, November 11 at the Parksville Cenotaph on Craig Street.
There will be no parade from the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 49 – Mt Arrowsmith.
The procession will muster at 10:15 am in the Parksville Community Centre parking lot on Jensen Avenue East and proceed to the Cenotaph.
The ceremony begins at 10:40am with a flyover at 11am.
Following the service, the Mt Arrowsmith Legion will welcome guests for lunch and the Salvation Army kitchen at Alberni and Jensen will be open to the public serving hotdogs and hot chocolate.

November 11 – Remembrance Day Service & Parade
11am Service at Qualicum Beach Civic Centre, followed by parade down Second Avenue to Veterans’ Way
The Qualicum Beach Remembrance Day service will begin at 10:30am at the Qualicum Beach Civic Centre. Doors open at 9:30am. A bus will be available to transport veterans to and from the service, loading at 10:15am and leaving the Branch at 10:30am.
Following the service, the parade will form up and march back to the Legion. Refreshments, entertainment and comradeship to follow at the Branch. Doors Open to Public at 1:00pm.
