November 16th, 1993, the track “All For Love” with Bryan Adams, Sting, and Rod Stewart was released. It nearly wasn’t as chaos had them struggling to meet the deadline!
Bryan Adams co-wrote this for the Three Musketeers soundtrack. Sting was approached and immediately said yes, as he wanted to work with Bryan.
The third person took a bit longer to find. First they approached Luciano Pavarotti, then Jon Bon Jovi, and eventually Rod Stewart.
Rumour has it, Rod’s tardiness, the record labels clashing, and the prank wars between Sting and Rod Stewart made this project incredibly challenging. You can further delve into it from the Ultimate Classic Rock article HERE.
