It was such a gorgeous day yesterday that I couldn’t waste it. Thought, why not go some place I’ve always wanted to visit but haven’t yet?
The North Island Wildlife Recovery Centre it is! I was not expecting it to be such a massive place with not only wildlife but gardens, trails and ponds with fountains! It’s a gorgeous place to go and to learn about creatures, what to do if you come across an animal in distress, and a lot more.
I think I spent a couple of hours here – did not want to miss a single thing.
I highly recommend visiting this place! They even have umbrellas for those wet days.
