PARKSVILLE – More than a month after a break in at the Parksville-Qualicum Beach SPCA, Oceanside RCMP are turning to the public for help.
RCMP Cpl. Jesse Foreman said their investigation into the incident at 4:30 a.m. on April 25, where someone threw a rock through the SPCA, broke in and stole a small amount of cash, has gone cold.
“No tips so far. We had a bit of forensic evidence but that’s gone a little south for us. We’re hoping someone out there knows something,” he said.
No animals were harmed in the incident.
Foreman said if anyone knows anything about the break-in, they’re urged to call Oceanside RCMP or Crimestoppers.
