The Island's LARGEST open car show is happening Sunday, August 1 at Parksville Beach. Registration begins at 8am and judging will commence at 11. Saturday evening, beginning at A&W the cars will be cruising up the island highway.

The Quality Foods Sand Sculpting Competition!
Head down to the Parksville Community Park as professional sculptors take to the beach to create masterpieces out of sand! The sculpting takes place Friday, July 16th - Sunday, July 18th. The sculptures then remain on display until Sunday, August 15th. This is a great family event with a chance to vote for your favorite sculptures, plus there's entertainment slated for every weekend the sculptures are on display!

It's the experience of a lifetime! 2 people, a car and a journey all over Vancouver Island. It's the 2010 Island Chase presented by English Entertainment. Teams of 2 are going all over the island racing for a grand prize and supporting the BC Cancer Foundation. There's no knowing what challenges you'll face or who you'll meet along the way.

Tour de Rock Coming through Parksville: Thursday, September 23rd
Cops for Cancer Tour de Rock is back! The Tour de Rock team will once again be riding from one end of Vancouver Island to the other stopping in on different communities along the way. This trip runs over 2 weeks and covers 1,000 kilometers to raise awareness and funds for pediatric cancer research.
